I’m thrilled about the bold steps Medium is taking to reposition itself as a leading global writing community that we can all be proud of. Over the past two months, I’ve noticed at least five writers on Medium blatantly copying the ideas from one of my best-performing articles, titled “20 Best Websites Where Writers Can Earn $100 for Short Stories.” They republished these ideas as though they were the original authors.

Fortunately, when I reported this issue, the Medium team promptly took action. They removed all the plagiarizing writers and upheld the platform's integrity.

This decisive action by Medium is a commendable move in the right direction. It’s something every writer on this platform should wholeheartedly support because we are all stakeholders in the Medium ecosystem.
